Tata Power Solar Systems Limited trusted Allcargo as their LSP to move 500+ containers from Shanghai to their site in Pokhran, Rajasthan. Allcargo deployed its resources to survey the best route and provided efficient solutions utilizing its NVOCC network, container handling facility and custom clearance. Containers were imported from Shanghai to Mundra CFS. About 30-40 containers were moved on a daily basis from the CFS to the ICD in Jodhpur by train; custom cleared and then transported to Pokhran, covering a distance of 200 kms. The containers were then emptied and carried back to the ICD in Jodhpur. The project posed unique challenges that our team managed deftly.

Trailers in good conditions were deployed after the survey to ensure fast and safe movement on the arduous route
Workers at site were provided with extra perks to ensure the working 24x7 to meet the tight deadlines
JCBs were customised by adding the forklifts at the front of their boom to ensure that the wheels are able to move in sand to enable safe unloading
